Passengers traveling with Air Canada can Check-in conveniently with the check-in options provided as below:

Online Web Check-in

• You can check in online from 24 hours prior to departure until the check-in deadline. During this time, you may also purchase travel options.

• Choose to print your boarding pass at home, at an airport kiosk, or receive it on your mobile device.

• If you have checked baggage, tag your bags at a self-serve kiosk before proceeding to Baggage Drop-off.

Mobile Check-in

• Mobile check-in is available from 24 hours before your flight until the check-in deadline. You may also purchase travel options during this time.

• Your boarding pass can be received via email or SMS on your phone, or printed at an airport kiosk.

• Tag any checked baggage at a kiosk and proceed to Baggage Drop-off.

Airport Self-Serve Kiosk

• Kiosk check-in is available from 12 hours before your flight up until the check-in deadline. Travel options can also be purchased at this time.

• Print your boarding pass at the kiosk or have it sent to your mobile device.

• Tag your checked baggage and proceed to Baggage Drop-off.

Services Available During Check-in

• Purchase a standard or Preferred seat

• Indicate the number of checked bags and pay any applicable baggage fees

• Make a same-day flight change or request standby for an earlier flight (if eligible)

• Request an upgrade using eUpgrade credits or available add-ons

• Purchase a last-minute upgrade (subject to availability)

• Add, renew, or change your Aeroplan or other frequent flyer number

• Have your boarding pass sent to your mobile device

• Access Air Canada’s Delayed and Cancelled Flight Service in the event of severe weather disruptions

Note: From 24 hours prior to departure until the check-in deadline, you may cancel your online or mobile check-in provided you have not printed baggage tags.

When to Check In With an Airport Agent

The following passengers must check in directly with an airport agent:

• Children travelling under the Unaccompanied Minor service

• Passengers requiring medical assistance, a wheelchair, or with special service requests

• Travellers accompanied by pets in the cabin or in the baggage hold
