Air China Lost & Found

If you misplaced an item during your Air China flight or while at the airport, follow the steps below to initiate the recovery process:

How to Report a Lost Item

• Online: Go to the official Air China website and locate the section titled "Delayed, Damaged, or Lost Baggage Services." There, you can fill out the "Lost Property Form" to notify the airline of your missing item.

• By Phone: You can also speak directly with Air China’s customer service. The contact number is available through the official website.

After You File a Report

• Acknowledgment: Once your report has been submitted, a confirmation email containing a reference number will be sent. Air China will begin searching for your lost item and will inform you of the results.

• Retention Period: Items that are not claimed within a designated period may be discarded. To improve the chances of recovery, it's best to report your lost item without delay.

Things to Keep in Mind

• Responsibility: Air China’s lost item assistance is a courtesy service. The airline does not assume liability for personal belongings left behind.

• Using Trackers: If you have used tracking devices such as Apple AirTags, you may share the tracking information with Air China. This can help their team in locating the item. This function is part of Apple’s Find My app and is compatible with several carriers.

Prompt action is essential. Contact Air China or the appropriate Lost & Found office at the airport as soon as possible to maximize the chances of retrieving your belongings.
