Air Niugini operates a loyalty programme known as Destinations Loyalty, supporting frequent travel between Australia and Papua New Guinea through airports including Sydney Airport, Brisbane Airport, and Cairns Airport.

Membership Tiers

The programme includes tiered membership levels based on accumulated miles or flight segments. Higher tiers provide priority services such as priority check-in, lounge access where available, additional baggage allowance, and boarding priority.

Earning Miles

Miles are credited based on ticket fare class and flight distance. International sectors between Australia and Port Moresby provide higher accrual rates compared to domestic segments. Partner airline travel under codeshare arrangements may also contribute to mileage accumulation depending on booking class eligibility.

Redeeming Benefits

Miles can be redeemed for flight upgrades, award tickets, or excess baggage allowances. Redemption availability is subject to seat inventory controls and blackout periods during peak travel seasons between Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Account Management

Members manage accounts through online portals, where activity statements, tier progress, and redemption options are displayed. Changes to personal details and claim requests for missing miles are processed through customer service channels.
