Carry-on Baggage

Economy Class passengers are permitted one cabin bag and one personal item. Cabin baggage must fit within overhead storage bins, with a maximum combined dimension requirement applied across Aircalin international services. Business Class passengers receive two cabin items, subject to weight and size limitations consistent with Airbus cabin storage capacity on A320neo and A330-900neo aircraft.

Personal items include laptop bags, small backpacks, or handbags placed under the seat in front. Security screening at Australian Airports applies to all cabin items, and restrictions follow Australian aviation security regulations.

Checked Baggage

On Aircalin international routes from Australia, Economy Class allowances generally include one checked baggage piece up to 23 kg, while Business Class passengers are permitted two pieces up to 32 kg each. Linear dimension limits apply per bag for aircraft hold compatibility.

Excess baggage is calculated per kilogram or per additional piece depending on route structure between Australia and Nouméa. Oversized items such as sporting equipment, surfboards, or musical instruments require prior confirmation with Aircalin reservations or airport counters.
