Passengers traveling with Aircalin can Check-in conveniently with the check-in
options provided as below:
Online Check-in
Aircalin provides online check-in for flights departing Australian Airports
starting approximately 30 hours before scheduled departure. The system allows
seat selection, passenger verification, and boarding pass issuance for eligible
bookings. Online check-in closes prior to airport check-in cut-off times,
generally 1 to 2 hours before departure depending on route.
Airport Check-in Counters
At Sydney Airport, Brisbane Airport, and Melbourne Airport, Aircalin counters
open approximately 3 hours before departure. Passengers must present valid
passports, visas, and travel documentation aligned with entry requirements for
New Caledonia or onward destinations.
Baggage drop and document verification are completed at the same counters before
security screening and departure processing.
Self-Service Options
Where available, airport kiosks support boarding pass printing and booking
verification. Bag drop desks remain mandatory for checked luggage submission
following kiosk completion.
Special Assistance Check-in
Passengers requiring mobility assistance, medical clearance, or unaccompanied
minor handling must use staffed counters. Advance notification enables
coordination with ground handling teams in Australia and Nouméa.
Cut-off Requirements
Aircalin enforces strict check-in closure times. Passengers arriving after
counter closure are not accepted for boarding regardless of ticket status or
seat confirmation.
These policies may differ, however, so you should check with Aircalin for its timings, rules and procedure that may apply during
check-in.
