Onboard or at the gate: If the item was left on the plane or during boarding/disembarkation, contact Emirates’ baggage services or the ground handling agent at the respective airport. Emirates staff typically transfer lost items to the airport's Lost & Found department within a few hours.

Inside the terminal: Items lost within the airport (security, lounges, or general areas) are handled directly by the airport’s Lost & Found office. Each airport has its own procedure and contact point. For example:

Sydney Airport (SYD): Visit the Lost Property counter in Terminal 1 or submit an online form.

Melbourne Airport (MEL): Report items through the Lost Property service at Terminal 2.

What to do: Provide flight details, seat number, description of the item, and contact information. Recovery times vary, and storage fees may apply depending on the airport.
