Fiji Airways operates a mixed fleet on Australian routes, with cabin
configurations depending on aircraft type and route demand. Services between
Australia and Fiji are primarily operated by Airbus A350-900, Airbus
A330-200/300, and Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft.
Business Class
Business Class cabins on A350 and A330 aircraft feature lie-flat seating
arranged in a 1-2-1 or 1-2-1 staggered configuration depending on aircraft
layout. Seats provide direct aisle access, adjustable privacy panels, in-seat
storage, and full-flat sleeping positions suitable for long-haul travel between
Australia and Fiji.
On Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft used on selected Australian routes, Business Class
seating is configured in a recliner-style layout with enhanced legroom and a 2-2
arrangement.
Economy Class
Economy cabins on A350 and A330 aircraft are arranged in a 3-3-3 layout with
adjustable headrests, personal entertainment screens, and standard recline
functionality. Boeing 737 MAX 8 Economy cabins follow a 3-3 configuration with
overhead storage and seatback entertainment on selected aircraft.
In-flight service includes meals and beverages on international routes between
Australia and Fiji, with variations depending on flight duration and departure
time.
Seat Selection
Seat selection is available during booking and through the manage booking system
prior to departure from Australian airports. Preferred seats, including extra
legroom and front cabin positions, may require additional charges depending on
fare type. Standard seat allocation occurs during check-in for passengers
without pre-selected seating. Exit row seating is subject to regulatory safety
requirements and passenger eligibility checks.
