Thai Airways’ frequent flyer program is called Royal Orchid Plus. It rewards loyal passengers for flying with Thai Airways and its partner airlines, including members of the Star Alliance network.

Members earn miles based on flight distance, fare class, and airline. These miles can be redeemed for award flights, cabin upgrades, excess baggage allowances, and other exclusive benefits.

Royal Orchid Plus has four membership tiers: Basic Member, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Each tier offers increasing benefits. Silver members receive priority reservation and waitlisting, while Gold and Platinum members enjoy more premium perks such as priority check-in, extra baggage allowance, access to Royal Silk Lounges, and priority boarding.

To join, passengers can sign up online for free. Once enrolled, they start earning miles on qualifying flights, hotel stays, car rentals, and other lifestyle partners. Accumulated miles remain valid for three years, and members must redeem or extend them before they expire.
