T'way Air Lost & Found

Passengers who lose personal belongings while travelling on T'way Air flights involving Australian Airports should report the matter as soon as possible to improve the likelihood of recovery. The handling procedure differs depending on whether the item was left on the aircraft, within the airport terminal, or relates to checked baggage.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Personal belongings found inside the aircraft after arrival at Sydney Airport are collected by cabin crew during post-flight inspections and transferred to the airline's appointed ground handling agent. Each item is recorded before being placed into secure storage while ownership is verified.

Items Lost at the Airport

Articles misplaced inside Australian Airports, including check-in halls, security screening points, departure lounges, immigration areas, or baggage reclaim halls, are managed by the airport's Lost Property office rather than the airline. Passengers should contact the airport authority directly with a detailed description of the missing property.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Passengers who cannot locate checked baggage after arriving at Australian Airports must visit the baggage service counter before leaving the baggage reclaim area. Airline representatives will create a Property Irregularity Report (PIR), which is used to trace delayed or missing baggage through the international baggage tracking system.

Reporting a Lost Item

When submitting a report, passengers should provide the booking reference, baggage tag numbers where applicable, flight number, travel date, and a detailed description of the missing item. Photographs, receipts, or distinguishing features may assist with identification.

Recovery and Collection

Recovered items are retained for a limited period in accordance with airport and airline procedures. Passengers collecting property must present valid identification together with evidence of ownership. Courier delivery may be arranged in certain circumstances, with transport costs remaining the passenger's responsibility.

Passenger Advice

Passengers departing from Australian Airports are encouraged to carry passports, money, electronic devices, medication, jewellery, and other valuable belongings in cabin baggage. Before leaving the aircraft or terminal, travellers should confirm that all personal possessions have been collected from seat pockets, overhead lockers, and charging stations.
