T'way Air » Children Flying Alone Policy
T'way Air does not provide an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service for children
travelling alone on its international network, including flights departing from
Australian Airports.
Children travelling without a parent or legal guardian are required to meet
the airline's independent travel requirements before boarding is accepted.
Parents or guardians remain responsible for ensuring the child satisfies all
entry, exit, immigration, and transit requirements applicable to every country
on the itinerary.
Children who are not eligible to travel independently under the airline's
conditions of carriage must be accompanied by a responsible passenger who meets
the airline's minimum accompanying age requirements.
For passengers travelling from Australian Airports, accompanying adults should
remain at the airport until the aircraft has departed. Likewise, the receiving
adult at the destination should arrive at the airport before the scheduled
arrival time and carry valid identification to receive the child where required.
Parents or guardians should ensure the child carries a valid passport, visa
where applicable, contact details for both the departure and arrival guardians,
and any documents required by immigration authorities. Additional documentation
may be necessary when a child is travelling internationally with only one parent
or with an accompanying adult who is not the child's legal guardian.
Families planning travel involving young passengers are encouraged to confirm
the latest age requirements and travel conditions with T'way Air before
purchasing tickets, particularly where connecting flights, codeshare services,
or transit through third countries form part of the itinerary. Eligibility to
travel independently remains subject to the airline's published conditions of
carriage and applicable government regulations.
