Vietnam Airlines provides an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service for children travelling alone on international flights departing from Australian Airports.

Eligible Age Groups

Children between 6 and 11 years travelling without a parent or legal guardian must use the Unaccompanied Minor service on Vietnam Airlines international flights.

Passengers aged 12 to 17 years may travel independently or request the UM service voluntarily.

Booking Requirements

Unaccompanied Minor bookings for departures from Australian Airports must be arranged through Vietnam Airlines reservation offices or authorised agents before travel.

Parents or guardians must complete required consent forms and provide identification and contact details for persons delivering and collecting the child.
