Taxi

Every arrival at Hobart Airport is met by taxis that will take passengers into Hobart city. The trip will take around 20 minutes.

The taxi rank is located directly out the front of the terminal building. If you need a mini-van or special taxi please ask one or the kerbside assistants who will radio one through for you.

Bus

The shuttle departs outside the terminal after the arrival of every flight transferring passengers to the city. The primary operator for the bus service is Tasmanian Redline Coaches.

SkyBus provides fast, frequent, extended operating hours and low cost airport transfers to Hobart City. The bus departing every 30 minutes daily all year round to the heart of Hobart City. Tickets are available online through the SkyBus website. Alternatively, you can purchase tickets at the e-kiosks conveniently located next to airport luggage carousels.

Ride Sharing

Ride sharing services such as Uber are now available at Hobart Airport. For those travelling to the airport using Uber, your driver will drop you off at the designated area in the pick up/drop off lane outside the terminal.

A rideshare access fee of $3.85 per trip applies to those using Uber services at Hobart Airport. This fee is automatically included in your total fare when requesting an Uber from the airport.

Simply order your ride share using your preferred app and follow the signs to the designated Ride Booking areas to meet with your driver.
