airport or airline service channels.
Items Left on Board the Aircraft
Cabin crew collect articles left onboard China Airlines aircraft after arrival
at Australian Airports. Retrieved items are transferred to ground handling
personnel for registration and storage.
Recovered belongings may include passports, mobile phones, wallets, tablets,
headphones, documents, and clothing.
Items Lost at the Airport
Items misplaced inside Australian Airports terminals, including immigration
halls, security checkpoints, boarding gates, lounges, and public waiting areas,
are managed by the airport lost property office.
Passengers must contact the relevant airport authority if the missing item was
not left onboard the aircraft.
Baggage-Related Lost Property
Passengers arriving at Australian Airports with delayed, damaged, or missing
checked baggage must report the issue immediately at the China Airlines baggage
service counter before leaving the arrivals area.
A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) is issued for tracing and follow-up
procedures.
Reporting a Lost Item
Passengers reporting lost property should provide flight numbers, baggage tag
details, seat numbers, travel dates, and a detailed description of the missing
item.
China Airlines may request proof of ownership before releasing recovered
belongings.
Recovery and Collection
Recovered items are stored for a limited retention period. Passengers collecting
property from Australian Airports must present valid identification documents.
Courier delivery arrangements may be available for recovered items depending on
