LATAM Check-in Information

Online / Mobile Check-in

LATAM offers online and mobile check-in for passengers departing from Australian Airports. Check-in opens 48 hours before the scheduled departure time and closes 2 hours before the flight. During the process, passengers may confirm travel documents, select eligible seats, obtain boarding passes, and review baggage allowances before arriving at the airport.

Self-Service Kiosks

Self-service kiosks are available at selected Australian Airports served by LATAM. Eligible passengers may print boarding passes and baggage tags before proceeding to the designated baggage drop facility. Kiosk availability depends on airport infrastructure and operational arrangements.

Airport Counter Check-in

LATAM check-in counters at Australian Airports normally open approximately 3 hours before scheduled international departures. Passengers travelling with checked baggage, travelling companions requiring document verification, or passengers who are unable to complete online check-in must report to staffed counters before the published check-in deadline.

Passengers must present valid passports, visas, health documentation where required, and any supporting travel documents before boarding passes are issued.

Special Assistance

Passengers requesting wheelchair assistance, medical clearance, assistance for reduced mobility, travelling with service animals, or requiring other specialised airport services must complete check-in at staffed counters. Advance notification allows LATAM and airport ground staff to coordinate the required assistance before departure.

Passengers travelling with infants, unaccompanied minors, or oversized baggage may also be required to complete airport check-in.

Passengers arriving after the published check-in or baggage acceptance deadlines at Australian Airports are not accepted for travel on the scheduled flight. Boarding gates close before departure in accordance with airport security and operational requirements.
