Scoot does not provide a dedicated unaccompanied minor escort service for
children travelling alone.
Children below 12 years of age are not permitted to travel independently on
Scoot-operated flights departing from Australian Airports. A passenger aged at
least 18 years must accompany the child throughout the journey.
Passengers aged 12 to 17 years may travel alone on Scoot flights subject to
destination entry requirements, immigration regulations, and possession of valid
travel documentation.
Parents or guardians arranging independent travel for minors departing from
Australian Airports must ensure the passenger carries:
• Valid passport
• Required visas or entry permits
• Consent documentation where applicable
• Contact information for guardians at origin and destination
Airport staff may request supporting identification and authorisation documents
before check-in acceptance.
Scoot does not provide inflight supervision, escort handling, or dedicated
transfer assistance for minors travelling independently through transit
airports.
Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring compliance with immigration
and border control requirements at all departure, transit, and arrival airports
associated with Scoot itineraries.
