Batik Air Malaysia (OD) is a Malaysian full-service carrier operating under the Lion Air Group. The airline commenced operations in 2013 under the Malindo Air brand before adopting the Batik Air Malaysia identity in 2022. Its corporate headquarters are located in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, while primary flight operations are based at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA).

Batik Air Malaysia operates scheduled passenger services linking Malaysia with destinations across Southeast Asia, South Asia, East Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. The carrier deploys both narrow-body and wide-body aircraft across its regional and medium-haul network. International destinations include cities in Indonesia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Sri Lanka, and Central Asia.

In Australia, Batik Air Malaysia operates services connecting Kuala Lumpur with Sydney Airport, Melbourne Airport, Perth Airport, and Brisbane Airport. Additional connecting services are available through transit points within the airline’s regional network. Australian operations are handled through international terminals with integrated baggage transfer for eligible itineraries.

As of May 2026, Batik Air Malaysia serves more than 60 destinations across over 18 countries and territories, including scheduled international and domestic services. The airline continues to expand its network with additional routes introduced during 2026, including new nonstop operations to Shanghai and Sydney.
